My wife and I bought this car in Oct of 2012. We purchased the SEL model. The ride is much stiffer, sporty, than the SE or S model because of the larger wheels that come on the SEL models. Overall, we really like the car, but if you want a smoother ride, choose the SE or S series. My only real complaint is the ride. Nicely equiped, great looking, great pick up, great Xion adjusting headlights
